In 2018, Casual Hoteles , a leading themed urban accommodation company in Spain, signed an agreement with the NGO “ Save the Children ,” whose main objective has since been to raise awareness about the need to defend children's rights . This alliance led to the creation of a “ solidarity room ” in each of the establishments * that the Valencian group has in 11 cities in Spain and Portugal .
They maintain the characteristic theme of Casual Hotels but also include informative material and photographs of the different programs that “ Save the Children ” carries out around the world.
If you're planning a Christmas vacation in Spain or Portugal and want to make it the perfect gift for the children , make your reservation at a Casual hotel and specify in the comments section (or upon arrival) that you'd like to stay in their " solidarity room ." 5% of the price (excluding VAT) will go to the NGO " Save the Children ."
From 2018 to 2021 , Casual Hoteles donated 22,204 euros to "Save the Children" by collecting 5% of the "solidarity rooms" reservations at the group's hotels during those years.
The check corresponding to the funds raised in 2022 will be presented next March , and in addition, looking ahead to 2023 , Casual Hotels and “Save the Children” plan to continue holding charity breakfasts and training sessions that will serve to promote this goal of raising awareness in defense of children among the Casual community .
