June 17, 2024. The year 2024 is proving to be very positive for the Valencian chain Casual Hoteles . On the one hand, because they are going to meet their forecasts financially, and this year will be better than 2023. And on the other, because the group founded by Juan Carlos Sanjuán is taking great strides to boost the company's expansion in priority Mediterranean destinations, having consolidated its business following COVID-19.

Thus, following the announcement earlier this year about the signing of an agreement to incorporate the Casual Miraviglie Napoli, Casual Hoteles has now confirmed that it will open its first hotel in the Balearic Islands in 2025.

According to Juan Carlos Sanjuán, president of Casual Hoteles, “Casual Bahía Ibiza, located in Sant Josep de Sa Talaia, will open in April 2025. The hotel will have 42 rooms and will be rented. Like our other properties, the property, which is undergoing renovation, will be themed with a Mediterranean-inspired project designed by interior designer Raquel Sanjuán Studio.”

With this new establishment, and the planned new opening in Naples, Casual Hoteles will increase its portfolio to a total of 26 hotels and 947 rooms in 15 cities in Spain, Portugal, and Italy.

About Casual Hotels :

Casual Hoteles is a Valencian hotel company founded in 2013 by Juan Carlos Sanjuán, with the goal of becoming a benchmark for themed urban accommodations in Spain. All of its hotels feature unique decor inspired by the destinations in which they are located, and offer high-quality standards and central locations at affordable prices.

They are fun, surprising, and provocative, making Casual Hoteles a disruptive chain that, in 2018, was recognized with the Hostelco Award for “Best Hotel Concept”; and in 2023, it won the First Prize for Sustainable Tourism from HOSBEC, in the category of “Best Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy.”

In this regard, the group also stands out for its policy of strong social and environmental commitment through its own Code of Ethics, and for its collaborations with NGOs such as Save the Children and UNICEF, among others. Currently, Casual Hoteles has 24 hotels and 869 rooms in 13 cities in Spain, Portugal, and Italy, of which 1 is owned, 1 is managed, 15 are leased, and 7 are franchised.
