Casual Hoteles launches its first project in Italy into management.

November 25, 2022. In 2023 , Casual Hoteles will celebrate its tenth anniversary . Ten years in which the chain of themed urban hotels created by Juan Carlos Sanjuan has consolidated a unique proposition, which, after operating under ownership , rental , and franchise systems, has now decided to launch into management . And it has done so with an absolutely groundbreaking project, which will open its doors at the end of December : Casual Rinascimento Firenze & Spa .
This is a beautiful 37-room tourist complex, spread over 3 independent buildings belonging to 3 well-known Florentine palaces (Palazzo d'Anghiari, Palazzo delle Poste and Palazzo Baldaccio) from the 15th century , which is located in the centre of the historic centre of Florence , the first Italian city where Casual Hotels has landed .
A destination that, according to the founder of Casual Hoteles, Juan Carlos Sanjuan , “ has allowed us to develop our know-how in theming establishments, taking a journey back in time to reinterpret the classics that during the Renaissance made Florence the city where talent became history, and paying tribute to its art and culture, but with a more contemporary vision. The company Rizoma Architetture was responsible for executing the project, managing to merge the concepts of Renaissance and modernity with mastery and very good taste, thanks to a striking and, at the same time, very attractive design. Because, as Leonardo da Vinci said, 'beauty perishes in life, but is immortal in art'” .
Italy , like Spain and Portugal , explains, “ has a large number of independent hotels with between 40 and 80 rooms, which we believe we can help to be profitable thanks to our unique way of grounding the establishments in their respective destinations, transforming them into another attraction in the history and culture of the place; and, of course, to the management model we have created based on experience and advanced technological equipment, as well as an increasingly powerful sales force, multiple marketing actions, a scrupulous revenue analysis and a deep understanding of our customers, among other factors. It is already considered one of the most iconic projects that the Juan Carlos Sanjuan chain has themed to date. The capital of Tuscany , which in the 15th century , under the rule of Lorenzo de Medici , served as the cradle of the famous Italian Renaissance ; and which in 1982 was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO , gives great scope to the imagination and creativity that Casual Hoteles establishments always demonstrate.
In this case, the 37 rooms of the resort, which stand out for their great size , between 22 and 60 square meters each, and for being all of them different , have been decorated incorporating 4 typical aspects of the Italian Renaissance , which have been designated to each of the 4 floors of the building : games and entertainment activities (1st), art and architecture (2nd), science and discoveries (3rd) and the relationship between the sacred and the profane (4th). In them, historical designs are combined with avant-garde elements such as neon lights , and unmistakable colors , which are the house trademark.
