Forest Smart Casual Hotels
In one of the most extreme and unpopulated regions of the Iberian Peninsula, the Casual Hotels reforestation project seeks to recover the ancient forests. The junipers, once used to build colonial ships, have not been able to regenerate due to erosion and adverse weather conditions. The new species planted, adapted to these harsh conditions, grow slowly but surely.

But we will also tell you that forests, in addition to absorbing CO2, favor biodiversity by generating small, medium and large ecosystems. A refuge for flora and fauna.
They also keep rivers clean, capture and channel water, reduce soil temperature, prevent soil erosion, contribute to soil fertilization and a long etcetera.
We love to highlight that the planting of trees and the creation of forests generates rural and local employment around the areas where they are planted. Great professionals, with extensive experience, who know perfectly how to treat and care for them as they deserve.
